Aaron Hintz reorganized the diving program at HFFA into the Carolina Diving Academy in 2007. His experience with diving programs of every level has enabled him to build a cohesive program from entry-level lessons to national championship finalists. Hintz supervises all facets of the CDA curriculum and coaches the Elite Team.

Brian McRae took over the National Squad coaching duties upon his return to CDA in 2021. He also leads the many of the management responsibilities for the high school season program that Carolina Diving Academy hosts for nearly 30 area institutions. McRae's experience with CDA techniques and familiarity with Charlotte area high schools make him an integral part of the CDA organization.
