Our Philosophy
We believe that everyone can learn to dive. There is no diving gene... some people just start earlier than others. We believe that with the right instruction and support, anyone can become a successful diver.
We offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of all athletes, from beginner lessons to competitive team training. Diving is a lifelong activity with physical, mental, and social benefits including: discipline, focus, confidence building and self-esteem.
Our summer camp is a great way for athletes of all ages and abilities to have fun and learn to dive. Our camp offers a variety of activities, including diving lessons, swimming, games, and more.
Our beginner lessons are designed for athletes who have never dived before. These lessons are a great way to learn the basics of diving, including how to enter the water, how to do basic dives, and how to compete in meets.
Our competitive team training is designed for athletes who want to compete at a high level. These athletes train with our experienced staff and compete in local, regional, and national, and international meets.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Adam Wurtzel went to the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatic Center to meet the team from Carolina Diving Academy.
It was “Up ‘n Adam’s” chance to go off the deep end, literally. Adam ATTEMPTED to learn to dive throughout the morning, peaking in a leap of faith off a 10 meter platform into the 17 foot water below, in live shots that Adam called “the scariest moment in the history of Up ‘n Adam.” See for yourself.
